Here they are! I must say I'm giddy like a school girl. It's been awhile since we've had baby chickens and boy are they cute! I chose Dominiques and Americanas. The Dominiques because they are great layers and only weigh up to 5 pound therefore keeping the food to egg production down a bit. The Amaricanas because I love blue, greenish blue eggs!

It took me a few days to make their
brooder. Due to the fact we have a mini panther (a black cat named Trip)
we have to secure it in case the garage door is left open. It's a very
easy design I found on the internet.
I have horses so I just so
happen to have BIG water troughs. I used them as their
enclosure and made a top out of chicken wire and landscaping border. This should keep the cat out in case he should sneak into the garage.
